Gulf Craft Majesty 155: Built for Endurance, Range, and Luxury

Quietly operating from its shipyards amid the opulence that surrounds the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, the Gulf Craft Majesty Yacht line is poised to crown a new king. With splashy appearances at the Cannes and Monaco Yacht Shows this fall, Sept. 6-11 and Sept. 28-Oct. 1, respectively, the yacht builder will celebrate the appearance of the most elegant yacht in the line, the 47-meter Majesty 155 with appropriate fanfare. The 155, accompanied by the Majesty 110, are expected to serve as the backdrop for groundbreaking industry announcements detailing the next milestones Gulf Craft intends to reach.

General Specifications

A full displacement hull, the 155 ft/47 m Majesty 155 is fashioned of GRP composite, built for exceptional longevity and range. Powered by twin 2011 hp MTU 12V 4000 M63 engines, E-rated as commercial, the craft tops out at 16 kts, cruising 4200 nm at 10 kts. The GRP glass reinforced polymer matrix used to construct the hull compares favorably to other materials, with weight that is just 2/3 that of aluminum, and 1/4 the weight of steel. Unaffected by moisture or immersion, GRP also maintains low conductivity, making it a reasonable insulator.

The Majesty 155 measures 31.49 ft/9.6 m across the beam, providing a smooth, stable environment on board and underway. Her dramatically raked stem leads the eye smoothly to the angled glazing of the superstructure, sandwiched into sleek lines.

Accommodating 10 guests in five cabins, served by four crew cabins and a captain’s cabin adjacent to the helm and nav station, the Majesty 155 spreads joy across three decks. Naval architecture from Massimo Gregori Grgic of Yankee Delta Studio in Crespina, Italy is complemented by high quality joinery, furnishings, and room finishes provided by Gulf Craft’s in house teams. Designed and created to exacting standards, Gulf Craft manufactures virtually every item on the yacht with the exception of the engines and electronics.

Something to keep in mind while reviewing the Majesty 155 is the extensive range of customization opportunities. After the hull design, clients have free reign to request anything within possibility that increases their enjoyment on the yacht, building yachts that are inspired by dreams.
